Privacy Policy

This policy covers The Green Path · GREEN PATH HOLDINGS PTY LTD · ABN 97 689 967 673, trading as The Green Path ("we", "us"). When you submit a form on this site we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your suburb or postcode
• Details about your home and energy use that you choose to share (property type, ownership, approximate power bill, timeline)
• A record of the consent wording you accepted and when (see "Consent records" below)

Like most websites we also collect standard technical data (pages visited, device type) through privacy-respecting analytics. We do not run advertising pixels.

We use your details to:

• Contact you about your enquiry and prepare a system design and quote
• Assess your eligibility for government incentive programs you ask about — including the Victorian Solar Homes program, federal STCs and the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program
• Send you occasional updates and offers, only where you have separately opted in

We do not sell your information, rent it, or add you to third-party marketing lists.

When you submit a form you tick a consent box. We store the exact wording you accepted, together with the date and time, against your enquiry. This lets us demonstrate that contact and incentive assessments were requested. The consent wording is versioned; the version you accepted is recorded with your enquiry.

Claiming some incentives requires sharing limited personal information with the program operator or an accredited provider:

• Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU): where your project qualifies, your name, address and installation details may be provided to the accredited provider that creates the VEEC certificates. Your signed consent at enquiry or contract stage covers this.
• Federal STCs: assignment of small-scale technology certificates requires your details to be lodged with the Clean Energy Regulator or its agents.
• Solar Victoria: rebate and loan applications are lodged through Solar Victoria's portal and subject to its own privacy statement.

We only share what the program requires, only for the program you apply for.

Your enquiry details are stored in our hosted database, which is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people preparing your quote or installing your system. We keep enquiry records while we are working with you and for the period required for warranty and incentive audit purposes, then delete or de-identify them.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing admin@thegreenpath.com.au. Marketing messages always include an unsubscribe option. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect the service records we must keep for warranty or regulatory reasons.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first — we take privacy complaints seriously and will respond within 10 business days. If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version applies to all new enquiries from that date.
